Additionally, during the government shutdown Mike Johnson said: “ the Democrats need to end the shutdown so we can have a meaningful discussion on healthcare.” The Democrats ended the shutdown and the government was open. Monday evening the bipartisan proposal that would’ve extended the Affordable Care subsidies and offered a Republican form of healthcare….was suspended. So the questions are: who are the liars acting in bad faith, who is addressing the issues of affordability and healthcare, and who is actually serving Americans?

However, they were completely wrong in believing that the Republicans, as they promised, would negotiate the health care issue after budget approved.
