A deadname is the former name of a person who has changed it, typically a transgender or non-binary individual’s birth name. Referring to someone by this name instead of their chosen name is called deadnaming. Really? at the allergist office you see this as disrespectful? Worry about REAL problems and get out of your bubble. Someone has it way to easy IMHO.

Prolly not a popular opinion but I’m in a to hell with it kinda mood. I just really feel like if a parent were truly meaning to advocate for their child that they’d want to ultimately be the protector and the teacher that a parent by definition is positioned to be. That said. If my child even began to question their gender identity I’d advocate for them by taking the time to explain to them that gender identities are like cookie cutter sign figures. As in. Male and female are not words which should be taken as role or identity assignments. They are marketing pillars. Your gender is not your identity. It isn’t your personality or your hobbies or fashion choices. Simply bc one doesn’t FEEL like they fit into one of these groups does NOT mean that they were mistakenly born the wrong one. It just doesn’t. There are men and women with every sort of trait and talent and feeling but that doesn’t mean they were put in the wrong body. If they still feel that way as an adults then by all means
