We know what we know!!!!! My Daughter listening to her Ped Dr, right. my poor GS cried all the time ..I told her He was hungry. I made some oatmeal, fed him and He slept so long she thought he was deceased...SILLY GIRL...He couldn't sleep, HELL!!! He was HUNGRY!!!!

that was my mama she said the heck with the baby food it doesn't fill them up so she feed my daughter from the table before she was a year old and she became a little fat rolly-poly but that girl never got sick nothing just normal childhood stuff and she was she was fine very healthy young girl
My babies were eating pot liquor and cornbread and biscuits and gravy at 4 months they only ate the fruit of baby food other than that they ate what I ate.

Good stuff!! All of my babies ate just like that around 4 or 5 months!!! They loved it and they didn’t get sick and spit up a lot either…….slept very well and not fussy! Hated baby food!!
That's like the doctor told my niece not to give her son water 😲 because he said it's already in the formula 🙄 I had two babies and helped raise my niece's and nephews' cousins and they all had water.🙂
My son wouldn't eat baby food. He loved sitting on his Dad's lap eating whatever he ate. His favorite was liver, onions and rice. I'm so glad I have those memories. His father passed away when he was 2 years old. My son will turn 45 on the 25th of this month. 👍

My use to drop the kid off and say “ ma you don’t have to cook we got happy meals for them. When he walked out the door my grand babies would take the toys out of the box then throw the happy meal away & say “granny a what are you gonna cook for dinner”? They only wanted the toys and to hell with them nasty burger, fries, and that fake ass Apple juice.

None of my grands would eat that bland baby food....Back in the day my kids barely ate the stuff...I fed them what I ate...so they don't go hungry!

This is exactly what l my late mother-n-law did with my youngest daughter. From that good day she "never" returned to the cardboard baby food. She's a healthy grown 37 year old woman TODAY 😌😌👍🏿

This was me.. I’m from the old school, that processed mess, I didn’t feed it to my pet. My grandchildren had mashed potatoes & gravy ( real gravy) & real mash potatoes not that processed mess 😂😂

Grandma’s know their stuff. They’re generally not going to give the babies harmful foods, for their systems. So what were babies being fed before baby food was created. There are soft people foods that can be given sometimes. Although as a 76 year old mama, I wouldn’t have chosen greens, because they can give you gas, and a cranky, gassy baby😲😲
She is so cute 🥰 I did the same thing with my boys at 6mths 🙏🏾🙏🏾 they loved the mashed potatoes and gravy, rice and gravy, mashed beans and peas and cornbread as well 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾😋💕

lol, my son grandfather did that lol.. I was wondering why my son refuse to eat the baby food well I got off work early and went to pick him up and my son was at the table like that eating real food.. I said so how long has this been going on grandpa laughed and said don’t feed him none of the baby food he don’t like it

I do...and I don't interfere, except when that child is being "persecuted" with new , modern time ideas, like not sitting and eating cabbage and cornbread with Mamaw...need cornbread and milk, peaches, grits and eggs, rice and gravy with little crumbles of Salisbury steak...
my grams raised me just like that and I was the healthiest kid ever, no broken bones and I never got sick, but she was a foodie, she ate everything and was the littlest women💚
