this was in Leavenworth, KS in 2017. Police officer Matthew Harrington shot Antonio Garcia. This will forever be a bad memory for us. The officer was fired, but found not guilty of murder. smh
cops are no good. anytime they show up someone's going 6ft under. cops went and opened the door for no reason aggressively. he could've talked with the window down. the driver got scared for probably many reasons and tried to drive off and this gang member shot him. why did the prosecutor not press charges of 1st degree murder on him?

So many had a knife, but the officer used deadly force that was not necessary at that time. He called for back up. He should have waited for them. He was not in imminent danger, neither was anyone else.
Im pretty positive a taser would’ve beat the knife but maybe the new wave of cops dont carry those anymore and just go full lethal because of a badge on their chest.

maybe the knife wasn't a threat, but when he started driving, he made the car a weapon, especially driving like that. He was gonna run the cop over once he reversed, cop was justified.

stuff like this makes me respect cops a lot more in the yrs of 1990 and early 2000's...it was always the same cops patrolling the same streets..u knew them by name and they knew u...back in them days cops only reacted to serious crimes...if u threaten a cop they would give u a straight up fade...win or lose they walked away like men no one went to jail..they weren't scary cops like today and just shoot a whole clip...cops back in the day would have talked to this dude before things escalated... today they give badges and guns to power tripping scary cops that r afraid of their own shadow...I'm sure even their own shadow got a clip or 2😂
