I was in charge of fundraising for a Catholic school. When I went to the Target 1 block from said school for a donation (was hoping for a $25 GC) I was basically told the only way they could donate was if I could prove any of our students were gay! Seriously

I guess it depends on your place in the work place I'm building maintenance and I have demanded raises twice or I walk got them both and I lead my department no bullshit no find another job I said it's been 15 months since my last raise and my bills are getting higher so I need more $1.50 raise from $24 to $25.50hr. Make yourself non replaceable and you get what you deserve come do the bare minimum and stay where your at. Gen X and prior understands this

Sorry for this. I can’t understand why. I do know it can happen. I volunteered to do overtime when I saw backed up work and worked my position alone when it was supposed to be two people. My coworker would go to the bathroom and put her feet up and take a nap since worked nights then eventually went to another position. Job never gave me help. I got injured ended my ability to work. They refused workers comp
