My take on this, since everyone else is giving theirs... Obviously, it's a funny skit. But it's also a very valuable lesson for those who are smart enough to learn from the mistakes of others. Don't go around robbing people because you never know who is armed. Is it legal to shoot a person who is fleeing from the scene of a robbery? Nope. Are there people who either don't know the legality of the matter, or who simply don't care? Absolutely. Nothing I own is worth your life. Don't try to rob me and we can be friends. You'd much rather be my friend than to be my enemy. 🤷 For the record, I do know the law. As such, I won't shoot someone in the back for stealing from me. But I also won't guarantee that you will have a chance to get by me. And if you're trying to rob me face to face, good luck. Some of us carry AND train regularly.
