I have a new Chihuahua puppy. This morning she brought my inhaler to me without my asking for it. She also licked me when I had a bad anxiety attack. I just ordered and registered her to be my PSA as of last night. She has had no training.
My sister's Golden Retriever will sit right in front of you and continually bark to alert you when your sugar level is too high or too low. Her dog was never trained to do this. My sister thought it was a fluke, but he does this every time whenever my Mom is there and she has not taken her insulin. Now my Mom carries the insulin in her purse. When I was visiting, my sister's dog did the same thing to me. He sat down right in front of me and started barking to alert me that my sugar level was too high and to take a shot of insulin to bring it down. Sure enough, I checked my Dexcom G7 and my blood sugar was going up. The dog sensed it, before my Dexcom G7 alarm went off on my phone. Smart Golden Retriever. He was never trained to do this.

my service dog was stolen, she was a European Sheppard all black. I miss her so much. if anyone knows of a very smart black Sheppard stolen in Orlando, her name was Luna. its been almost two years now but I would take her back in a heartbeat.

My cat was 24 yrs old when he passed away. He was always by my side. My blood sugar would drop, it was 58 and Toby started licking my arm...I tested it & it was low. Cats are awesome... 👍🙏❤️

She learned that quick. she also comes to me and tells me the outside barn kitties are at the back door for their food. my point is....my little trivial things are not life saving, but ALL ANIMALS ARE SOOOOOOOOOOO SMART THEY LEARN THINGS QUICKLY ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE TREATED WITH LOVE AND TALKED TO NICELY. THEY RECOGNIZE WORDS. SIMPLY AMAZING HOW THEY HELP PPL WHO ARE DIABETIC OR HAVE EPILEPSY LIKE THIS GAL AND THE DOGS SENSES CHEMICAL CHANGES IN HIS OWNER. AMAZING. THEN GO GET HER HELP AND HELP HER FOLLOW THRU WITH LAYING DOWN. 💕💕💕💕💕
my boy did that for my sister he woke me up to tell me she was having a diabetic episode and then later found out they had to do with her heart he saved her life rest in peace, my boy
