I am so glad I made it through teaching my son to drive. He too had an issue with braking, but only at stop signs. He would stop a little past the sign, no matter how many times I corrected him. Thank God we never had an issue, and he figured it out after a few times. I did end up hiring a driving school though. Best decision I ever made!! The only down side to that was that it turned him into a "know it all" who then started telling ME how to drive! 🙄

I went through teaching two teenagers how to drive. One who thought he knew how after years of playing GTA and the other one 12 years after her brother. Her father a pretty damn good bracket racer across the country, but based out of Vegas. Any of you who know what I mean as a bracket racer. It’s going as fast as you can when the light goes green and stopping after going 200 mph in six seconds. So there might be a spot in heaven for me somewhere LOL.
