It’s a common misconception, but BlackBerry wasn’t shut down by the government. Governments actually used BlackBerry for years because of its strong encryption and secure messaging. The company just couldn’t keep up with iPhones and Android devices, so it eventually stopped making phones and shifted to security and software solutions instead.

Your phone shows everything you say and do. The government has to make sure you are always doing the right thing.

yeah no they did fail. your presenting this wrong. yeah it was cool that they did that with texting, blackberry was doing well for awhile with that. that's actually when I bought one but what made blackberry fail is the ipbone. the ipbone came out, first smartphone with no physical keyboard. blackberry was innovative but they forgot one thing about innovation, you must change. they thought the iphone was going to do badly after a year or so. they thought people actually loved the physical keyboard and the little mouse ball so they didn't change their phones. all they could have done is change. take the keyboard off and compete against iphone. who knows what would've happened maybe today instead of iphone vs android it would've been iphones vs blackberry vs android lol

yeah so that's bs. whoever wrote the algorithm can unlock your 💩 right now. brute force. there's plenty of ways. and the older it gets, the easier it becomes as we find other methods on different devices that share common components. you might find an exploit that would work on something older that has not been cracked yet. nothing is unhackable. nothing is untraceable. hell, even most of Tor is compromised now. p2p basically dead in the pirate scene. vpn is compromised. udp packet capture ruined that. get your facts straight

quick note for you anybody who's in their 40s and above 50s already know they got rid of pagers and to pay phones totally encrypted got rid of blackberry and Nextel totally encrypted now if anybody remember 98 99 the infancy still of the internet came iMac AKA iOS tell me how I retired police of detective buy to the phone company MetroPCS and some of you kids may not remember however you couldn't track too many cell phones unless you knew what tower was using they changed the phone numbers added more digits if you know you know

if you want more on that look up RC n and that's the company's name that was putting out BlackBerry is a RCN they only did this so that way they can trap you into a net any one of us who back used to use CBS and Ham radios I have a ham radio license we already know when they start making things go up at 800 MHz it was so that they can sit there and digitally tap

avator

It’s 100% hackable just harder and they died out cause they kept the keyboard when literally like everyone else started switching to only screens

avator
Outlaw_marine17
Blytheville, AR · 23 days ago

Well it was one reason. Because the networks couldn’t comply with the cia’s mandate to monitor however they started making clones for the people they wanted to monitor. So they would give a phone that could that looked like a blackberry but wasn’t. He’ll most technology they release as new and exciting to the mass public is about 30 years old the internet was being used in Vietnam. Computers used in the 50’s.
