We need to hold the demonrat accountable for their actions. Kennedy has a great bill to not pay them. May the should donate their salaries to the TSA agents on the Frontline of keeping this nation safe. Their childlike temper tantrum has gone far to long. There is no reason to keep Homeland Security hostage while the demonrats play their games.

When the AmericanPeople have spoken like in photo ID and American citizenship to vote and one party shuts the country down because they are the ones with the negative votes, the people need to throw them all out. It won’t happen but the Dems are punishing the American People as shown in polls and closing the government because of their hissy fit and temper tantrum. Vote all of them out. Senator Kennedy Is a millionaire. He isn't trying to get a vote passed..he is trying to work an audience of ONE. If he wanted to get a vote passed he would agree with the democrats that DHS funding ICE should be separated till further investigation involving the murder and detainment of American citizens be addressed properly by law enforcement.
Very simply if the government is shut down NO GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE should be paid until it reopens from the president on down. The constitution says that Congress will be paid for its work but it does not say anything about them getting paid during a shutdown. After all they would be paid back pay after it's over just like anyone else

actually i agree with this. most democratic countries have this policy. i would even go one step further, that the president and his admin is automatically ousted fron office when it goes past 30 days. goes another 30 then the speaker of the house is ousted.

I know that ‘if I didn’t show up for work because I disagreed with my boss(es)’, I wouldn’t get paid and would most likely get fired for not showing up for work. The Democrats are ‘golden spooners’ who deserve to be set out to ‘pasture’ after one term. They are the worse part of the US government and should be made to give to the US deficit if any of them make more than their congress annual salary. The Democrats make so much money that there is no way they can relate to average Americans - NO WAY!

Kennedy finally has said something that millions of taxpayers have sooke about many times. Why do the privilege group receive their salaries after failure to work toward a solution that will benefit taxpayers. Normal Americans who fail to execute the functions of employment are either suspended or terminated, not the DC mob, their families eat, don't receive notice of evictions, notice the utilities will be cut off, credit cards and checking accounts overdrawn, programs for seniors, the disable and special needs are no longer exist. This congress is by far the worst. There are Americans terrorists. Over two-thirds on the 535 elected individuals are either millionaires or billionaires that enjoy insider trading transactions normal Americans can't, why, because it against the law.
