You said ICE is there to ‘help,’ but they’re not trained to do TSA work, not speeding anything up, and mostly just standing around. So what exactly are they helping with? Presence? 👀 Because when law enforcement shows up without a clear function, people are going to question the real purpose. If it’s just optics, say that.

People don't have a clue the reason ICE and other law enforcement were brought in was to free up TSA agents from basic security to get them re-assigned to the check-in lines. I flew today and was glad to see them. People in the these lines would be sitting ducks without them. everyone i saw was thanking them and TSA agents for working. With all that is going on the Democrats picked the wrong time for a temper tantrum. No-one was wearing masks other than some Covid holdovers.

My son made it through in 40 minutes when the line was said before ICE 5-6 hours. He left super early and sat for 5 hours!

12 of my family members just flew out of O’Hare airport on Sunday and it took them 45 minutes to get checked in and board the plane .
They need to just take a couple of young kids with ice and trained them. How to operate the machine. They’re used to computers. The others can help the line move. I think it’s good. They’re there.
