I hope everyone heard that people are complaining that ACA premiums are increasing. This is not because of the shutdown. It is due to ACA not working the way it was promoted by Obama. The democrats had set an expiration date for ACA extensions. It has now been 3+ years since the extensions were implemented and democrats have done NOTHING to revise or replace the failed ACA program. People earning more than $75,000/yr should not be receiving subsidies. Why would the American people want to have their tax dollars spent on subsidizing healthcare for people who can’t pay for their own healthcare? If you earn $75,000 or more, there isn’t any reason why you can’t pay your own way. Stop with the handouts. Be an adult and budget your pay so you can pay your own way.

All this complaining Dems are doing in congress about approving CR is stage performance for the masses. They needed an exit ramp so they sacrificed the senators who could survive a yes vote. This whole thing was to put on a show for Election Day. They had to fight to win in dem states. They used others and made the most needy pawns for their political gain.

Congress are federal employees if they shut the government they shouldn't be payed and I guarantee the government would never close if they didn't get paid

Republicans own the government shutdown, they refused to negotiate, the House was dissolved, the Presisent had lavish parties, the Senate said No Negotiating. The elimibation of the ACA subsidies is not the result of the shutdown, it is the result of the Big Ugly Bill of Lies. However, not paying for SNAP is also owned by Trump and Congress, the courts have told him to pay SNAP!! VOTERS NEED TO VOTE BLUE FOR ALL HOUSE AND SENATE SEATS IN 2026 to reverse this immorality
