How the working class person can believe Trump is working in their best interests is beyond my comprehension! Trump’s net worth has surged to $7.3 billion, a $3 billion increase since he took office, according to a recent Forbes report. His wealthy friends and business associates have seen their wealth increase as well during his second term. What the working class has seen is increases in grocery prices, increase in Healthcare, housing, consumer goods. etc. The working class is standing on quicksand when it comes to the stability of their current and future Medicare, Medicaid programs. Trump, almost daily threatens to make cuts in these programs. Trump has fired or forced resignation of more than 300k federal workers who were working class people. Unless you are wealthy Trump has no use for you. He has no intention of helping the working class citizens. To him, you are just a drain on society and expendable.

There wasn't anything to work out. That had been done in advance when the clean CR came from a bipartisan House to a partisan Senate. The only ones who caused all the pain were the Democrats, they voted 14 times not to reopen the government whereas the Republicans vote 14 times to reopen the government.
