Give me a break. Oh it’s cold, I can’t go to school. I lived in states where we walked to school in the snow or driven in icy conditions. The problem is stupid people don’t know how to drive. You don’t speed like it’s a normal day.
why don't they shut the schools down for the week. it's really cold outside and probably in the schools toi. lets have mercy on the students and teachers. Let us Pray for those who must get out into these elements.🙏 There ought to be a bonus pay, for those who must get out for work etc.The money is there!🤔

Not to mention the school bus situation. The high absenteeism for drivers is likely. Plus many are not trained very well to drive in these conditions. Then there's the student/teacher absenteeism rate. Heating these large buildings is costly in general. For a skeletal crew of faculty, staff and students, its simply not cost effective! Safety is a huge concern...as it should be. but, I assure you the cost is equally factored into all school decision-making! They, will lose more money than they will make!
