Her Mother was. wrong. she was there, with her car. try to block Federal Agents from doing their job. Her partner was there filming it. She was her kids only parent and she chose to do this instead of staying home. Her partner even stated that she convinced her to come. can you imagine those kids getting called to the Principal or Councelors office to be that their only parent died trying to protest a federal arrest warrant being served. They were now orphans, wards of the Stste. My prayers will be with those children and the officer who had to make a split second decision to use lethal for so he could go home to his children.

She had been harassing ICE all morning. They finally had enough and were in the process of arresting her. Despite being told to stop and get out of the car, she chose to drive thru the agents standing there to get away. Yes, it was a tragedy that she lost her life. But as is the case in 99.9% of law enforcement shootings, if she had just complied with the agents and got out of her car, she'd still be alive today.

She cause her death. She knowingly knew she was impeding and obstructing the law by her actions. At 34 years old she should have more common sense to not get involved with Ice Officers doing their job.
Stop turning people into martyrs that died by poor choices. No one but her family, friends, and loved ones should "know who she was". It was their loss, not the world's.

What I had seen, and what the states stated they saw isn’t lining up. That day was different to Renee Goode, than any of ours, and we all played a role in that, we are all connected, and am responsible stewards in society.
