Honestly, this massive spread come from not keeping things sanitized in the hospital. When sanitation isn’t taken seriously ( housekeeping, aftercare precautions) This spreads it to other patients and staff in the hospital. I can count how many times people haven’t washed their hands or sanitized appliances after leaving a patients room.
this is because of dirty hospitals and dirty practices and the lazy people they have working there I witnessed it in Englewood and Hackensack I spent more time cleaning while I was with my late dad. I watched nurses not use hand sanitizer because the unit was empty but act like they were and I called them out on it my father got a rare fungal infection in his eye and went blind and he also got hepatitis B thanks to the hospitals. there is such thing as UV light disinfectants and better cleaning practices but they choose not to do it while raping us with their costs
nothing to do with the nurses the hospitals have a contract with outside cleaning companies and is up to the administration to make sure they do their job.
