Those LMG’s are not joke! That’s why they are usually mounted on top of hummers! Or trucks because of this very reason! Very few soldiers do carry this type of weapon because it is too heavy to run with! And running firing is dam near impossible to hit your target! Only experienced soldiers that have been trained with it can actually shoot accurately!

it's training. a civilian shouldn't be expected to handle it. I shoot a lot and when I shoot I don't blink. I have people come over sometimes and shoot and they all blink. it's conditioning.

Soldiers use light weapons because they have to be able to run and get cover in an emergency plus the recoil on smaller weapons makes accuracy much better! Too things soldiers need in a gun battle!
