You wouldn’t be needing immigrants in the first place if the working class Americans didn’t mind working in the fields. People always want to try and make racial comments but I don’t see any Americans trying to fill those positions now do we.

I worked in the fields. No I won't be doing that again. I am old and disabled now is the reason. I worked in watermelons, peaches, oranges, and the worst smelling job was tobacco and it was itchy. Try that in hot humid weather.

Has anyone considered the profits other people make off farmers? They do all the hardest work, yet they make the least.
When my X applied for his papers there was a lot of paperwork and thousands of dollars. It took him six years to become a citizen. This is not something that happens over a few months. I rest my case

when i picked berries one summer cause i had to so i had clothes to wear to school the next year, The mexicans,south Americans, Spanish, Hatians, Cubans, whatever the brown skinned people the Mexicans that spoke Spanish that came from Mexico and had family they were sending money to in Mexico, taught me how to pick fast. Us your belt and hang your crate in front of your chest. Then, take a stick and beat the bushes in a way to make all the berries fall into your crate. full it up and then pick the no good ones out before taking it up to the cashier to give you money for it. i doubled my daily earning easily. I started buying a couple burritos from the one silver toothed mexican who would but Tybee fit $1.00 and sell for$ 2.00
Americans worked in the fields at one time before they got smart and got an education !! No one is holding a gun to their head making them work in the fields.
I can’t say much, but I watched many , many of these illegals coming over the border illegally, under Biden… Many of them were severely out of shape, and I’m not talking about starving….

Just pure ignorance. that is a specialized machine. Just for grapes and the grapes have to be planted in a different way to be able to have that machine work. oh, and there is many more varieties of fruits and vegetables that still need to be picked that this machine will not be able to do
