All I have to say is “DO NOT BUY WATERMELONS AT WALMART”. I don’t care how pretty they are, striped or not striped. They freeze them, and the insides Turns to a slimy sludge and it’s disgusting.
Psychotic look
That yellowish spot on the bottom of all melons is where the melon sat on the while growing.
I just bought one like this and it's just fine ! DONT BELEIVE THE DAMN INTERNET !
Sweetness? Just buy Colorado Rocky Ford Melons-non better anywhere!
I GROW ALL MY VEGGIES,CHILI PEPPERS & MY WATERMELONS...#try it its so satisfying
and?
maybe because these fruits are genetically being made when you have a melon that has no seeds it is genetically made watermelon because you have to have seeds in order for watermelon to grow and for cantaloupe even strawberries are genetically made if they're huge and abnormal if there's no seeds and it smells great but it tastes like rubber it was genetically engineered. same thing with rice or even lettuce the engineering meat even nowadays we don't know what we're eating and that's bad🤔
it is sweet
As far as cantelopes, get a good whiff of where the stem was.. the stronger the smell of a cantelope, the better been it should taste....be sure to give it a good squeeze too. it could be overly ripe and feel mushy.
Yellow belly means ripe be careful though if it thuds when u tap it its over ripe you want it to ping not thud !!
I didn't know Loretta Lynn was a produce expert. In fact......I thought she was dead.
sugar baby's are dark green and the size of a basketball
sugar baby's are the best loaded with seeds that are so full of nutrients
L.A.M.E = LOOK AT ME EVERYBODY
They are sweeter
that yellow spot is were it satbon the ground it has nothing to do with its ripeness
I’ve seen better melons than the ones she’s showing
Not frozen.. except refrigerated truck trailers have cold spots… thumping helps
a more golden color means it's riper!
I had Walmarts but I just can’t find the ripe ones
Do any if you know what a real cantalope taste like? If the cantalope is hard; it is a frankenstein fruit, just like many of todays modified fruits. If a watermelon is seedless, you waste your money and time buying it. Not only does the watermelon not have a real watermelon taste, but the watermelon seeds are loaded with natural vitamins the seedless watermelon does not contain. When I see people buying seedless watermelons, I lose all hope for the future of humanity.
I grew huge Strawberries in my yard mine wasn't genetically grown either
How do you tell if it’s ripe and sweet
it's best to buy watermelons with the seed in. the others are altered
Whiter = sweeter
hey guys, I have a question or comment... have you noticed how hard the cantaloupes are? I let mine ripen and the smell develops then I cut open and that wonderful smell envelopes the room. however, they are hard and not good. the last few cantaloupes where nice to smell but when I cut open i sure was disappointed
It’s called Monsanto people
frozen and turned to sludge
I buy mini water mellons...personal...if u pay more 😆u still only get personal....Walmart doesn't freeze them....smoke somemore meth idiot...
more yellow more sweeter closer the stripes the more sweeter it is
I noticed when some fruits and veggies are grown in a lot of sand in soil, not a lot of flavor. 😲🤔😬
That is what you called the Areola
Diabetes balls
All of our food and water has some kind of bad chemicals in that's how they keep you going to the pharmacy for prescriptions, pay big pharma. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I bought a cantaloupe at Walmart 2 separate times, and they tasted like chemicals. I had to throw away.
the smaller the navel the sweeter the meat.....
When they are put on the truck it’s a reefer and what that means is products hauled is maintained a certain temperature and sometimes they malfunction and will freeze things or they stop running and the product goes bad….it’s not Walmart or any stores fault
wtf? Never had a garden I’m guessing. Must be lib.
Are these videos getting stupid or what.
I always use the brighter, the bigger, the better rule. The yellow indicates ripeness.
Depending where you live, they get seconds from produce ppl. Meaning they are not the best produce.
Watermelons do not continue to ripen if picked before they are ready that’s why Walmart melons aren’t good
Because you’re a rock scientist?
I always picked the melon with the whiter bald spot. Its was always the sweetest, learned that from a farmer when I was a kid, and It has always worked???🤔
All that yellow spot is is where it’s been sitting on the ground doesn’t make the melon any different
the point being made is the dark yellow spot means a sweet good melon.thats how to determine which one to choose.
I like her melons
Rather they show her melons
the most juicy watermelons are: 1. are more round than oblong 2. stripes more closely together 3. a patch or area of yellow on the melon. and it works everytime.
