That’s freaking awesome 👍🏼
I did this to my garden bed this year! I had weeds growing so fast I got sick of pulling them! I did the cardboard trick this spring. It's fall now and the garden is still as beautiful as it was in the spring time and I never had to pull one weed!!!! BTW it doesn't smell at all and the mulch stays right where it's at even in the heavy rain and we've had some heavy rain this year! Next year I'll replace all the cardboard with fresh pieces of cardboard, only I'm going to do white or beige stone next year instead of mulch. it's going to be beautiful!! 🥰👍
that's good for sure that's something easy to do real fast they look good I like it😂😂😂
cardboard is a great compost
if you use a sod cutter cut out the sod and put down round up but be careful with it kepp 8 inches away from the grass line side then they sale cheap but thick plastic rolls to put town then soil on top the plant what ever you want and mulch it you won't have the problem of weeds and grass growing and if you mow your own lawn and use fertilizer with weed control in your lawn you won't have to worry about weeds growing
Actually it holds the moisture in and its a great weed barrier. Fantastic
the cardboard is going to get wet and rot.... horrible idea
I’ve been doing this for years
I hate this sound track.
cool idea
when it rains it's gonna spread over the side
it keeps weeds out so well. I use it in my raised beds. who cares if they know. May learn a thing or two
We are recycling and saving on weed barrier that doesn't seem to work very good. You can use news paper to.
when watering, the soil will go on sidewalk since planted by it.
I did it with newspapers, and no weed came out.
Unless there's a barrier between the mulched area and the grassy area, grass will still spread into it. Seeds from weeds will still take root. It'll look nice for a while, but it won't be permanent.
Perhaps the most dumbass posts on the internet today
beautiful!!
This works great. The cardboard will compose into soil. Keeps weeds out great. I have done several times.
great idea. the cardboard will kill the weeds while it desinigrates.
that's actually good to stimulate the soil under the cardboard worms and other insects will consume that cardboard turning the soil nitrogen rich 🤔 I see it's no true landscapers on here oh yeah only a landscaper would know that grass cutters don't count😁😂😭😅
it's called sheet mulching or you could just use round up 😁
people do this in florida to be able to grow on top of sand . it's a really good idea for growth and even for compost piles
No one would notice that. LOL
No big deal! Cardboard blocks the sun, mulch holds down the cardboard! Plants & Lighting Anchor the Cardboard! It’s a Quick Landscaping Hack! 👍🏼
I don't get it, whats the big deal? I do it all the time, but you do it with sheets of plastic, not cardboard.Everybody does it, unless I'm missing something here, its gardening 1-0-1! I must be missing something!
Can you use the cardboard to get grass seed started? Cindy
OUTSTANDING!💕💕💕💕
This works because I did it myself
Bring the termites right in fast.
cool
I was told not too use cardboard because once it’s wet it starts to disintegrate and bugs will start forming and destroy it all and then the grass will eventually grow back 🤔
Eventually the sidewalk is 6” below the yard and it’s full of water when it rains. People do the same thing to their yards and then wonder why water is in the basement
"nobody's going to know", " how will they know". Well, considering he created a video and posted it on social media, a lot of people will know, and that's how they will know.
nice job 👍
forgot the plastic first then the cardboard dirt plants 🪴 😳 😅 😐
so what keeps that help of shift from washing into your freaking sidewalk every time it rains
so did he dig through the cardboard to plant those flowers in the mulch?
All that dirt going to wash off when it rains I would of took up about 3-4 inches of dirt first then did all that but without the cardboard
boss man was talking about this so I thought he was just pulling my leg I got to try that.
newspaper and fabric don't work so why not
it's fine but weeds and grass grow throw it in one year .
Why would they care
I did this !!! It works for a while but grass still gets through!!! Best advice is make sure you pull them out as soon as you see them starting to grow 💕
I know worms love that.
not your God!
