That happened to me when I didn't want to sub at school one day, said I had a flat tire and couldn't get there...they came and got me 🤦🏼♀️
When Mt. St. Helens erupted, because of the ash in Colorado, my car wouldn't start and neither would my mom's... so I called in. They sent a guy to get me... Well, it was pay day and I was the payroll clerk🤣
I work at a grocery warehouse. 2 feet of snow, and they came and picked me up and took me back home after work. That job sucked
Where in the world is her coat???!!!
I would have loved if someone came to take me to work in the winter. No shoveling, cleaning snow off the car, warm vehicle, maybe a little nap
I once got a ride with a semi trucker into work. worst thing was my boss was at the window and saw me get dropped off. She teased me about my dedication!
I used to live and work in a small town. We had 18” of snow during the night. Couldn’t back my car from the garage. Called the city manager and explained. He said no problem, 20 minutes later a fire truck was in front of my house to take me to work so that I could open the library! We had zero patrons that day.
During the blizzard of '96,I called my job to ask if someone could come and give me a ride to work. The boss told me there's nobody there so I might as well stay home.
in Iowa I walked to work during that mega-snow storm December 1978. once I got there at NW Bell, they kept us. put us up at motel across the street.
I was lucky. When a snow storm hits, I had the ability to work from home. The odd thing is I was more productive.
that has happened to me as well...heath care
Yep, I used pick up my employees all the time.
Rain or snowstorm you’re coming to Work😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆My bottle shaker Wonder Woman🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
that actually happened to me. the computer had our emergency response team pick me up..
Our boss was great at driving his VW Bug 15 miles in the ice just to get some of our nursing staff to work.
there might be another reason the boss comes to get you! he needs it real bad😆
Next time tell them you are sick ...,........no , better not. ....... they'll probably send you a doctor.............😆😆😆😆😆😆😆 !
I have a boss that went and picked up an employee that lived 3 miles away and I I live over 30 miles away and made it to work
Worked for a cable company for 18 years. They would come pick us up in a bucket truck!!! Lol
I've had to go and pick people up to bring them into work.
😆🤣😆
Zero funniness....ok, maybe a little funny.🤔🥰
She wanted to go to work so they came and picked her up so she should say I get by with a little help from my friends😆
mines sent the sheriff to the house lol yes I still went to work 😆 it was storming and I was pregnant
True story - years ago where I lived we had a snowstorm. Work place, businesses everyday activities still in effect. I caught the bus to work, the one other coworker who lived by me didn't I got to work realizing my co-worker didn't show up. The supervisor asked me how I got to work,so I replied by bus. The manager picked me up from the point where we had to get off and walk a couple of blocks, the manager met me from that point and took me directly into the plant where I worked. A couple of hours later , the supervisor asked me how I got to the job? By bus and the manager I answered. He said my friend called and told him the buses weren't running due to the weather.,..tell her when you talk to her..next time to make sure she check with me first before she calls out again and when it comes to the busses, make sure we have the same excuse
that happened to me one time working at a hotel in fairburn Georgia and I stayed on Washington road I told my boss I could not come in because I was not going to drive in no snow. he came and pick me up in the company car that was so funny😂😂😂
He’s so proud of himself 😆
on the upside you got more money in your pocket😆😂
In CANADA? You can't get out in the snow? What?

I had 1 would be right their on your doorstep with a huge breakfast in the car waiting 😆👍
It 's not going to hurt you at all.
that means you are a valued employee.they really need you there.
Actually back when I used to manage Italian restaurants in the 80s and 90s I had to do that several times to go get employees
Hahaha!
I managed places and when we had snow storms..I sent our plow truck driver around to pick up employees so they didnt loose money .. they said they loved me for it...but I got some raised brows from a few 😆 🤣

My cousin’s boss picked her up for work today bc of the snow . Apparently, the donut truck couldn’t make it and she spent all day working at Dunkin with no donuts to sell .
She thought she was slick!…🤣🤣🤣
bosses don't play Monday the busses weren't running her and her husband pulled tfu
Yeah. It figures that only the bartenders have to be at work. We're also the only ones who work through every holiday and Christmas no less.
😆😆😆👍🏼💕💕
you will always remember that day. they not only care for the business. but they cared for you and your paycheck. that was a big risk in there part.
Oh my goodness 😆😆😆 My boss did me the same way. 😂
Sounds like a desperate situation. If the boss can go golfing in it ,they will find a way.
That mean you’re needed 💕💕💕

Funny that he's picking her up in front of a bunch of strip mall stores and she doesn't even have a coat on!! This is obviously staged!
