For those who are whining about people who buy these little creatures, in this case a Sugar Glider, they purchase them from a pet store, so they know nothing of how they were obtained, and in this situation this probably helped provide a meal or two for this young man's family since he was able to sell it to a broker who in turn sold it to someone else until it eventually ended up at a pet store. And believe me the care and Love these little guys get far outweighs their having to search for a meal in the wild all their lives.

Absolutely correct! I owned gliders and if they didn't know you, they bit repeatably and hard with sharp teeth that really hurt. But gliders as pets are a lot of fun and adorable.

That's a Sugar glider which is native to Australia and Papua New Guinea. They're not consumed as food. Sadly they are sold as exotic pets here in the USA and other countries. We need to leave nature be. Those little guys require a lot of trees and space. 😢
