If your tip doesn't show forget about getting it delivered. Delivery people are looking to see if its worth them financially to deliver your order , so most won't deliver if they dont see a tip . Maybe people should be able to add tip upon delivery.

I don’t tip unless I want to. Servers, etc, that expect a tip, should maybe get an education to get a real paying job. I seldom dine out, (god, have you seen some of the kitchens where the food is prepared in? Scary) bugs, mold, rodents, and do they ever wash their hands? I’m a retired nurse, I never got tipped. My neighbor is a retired electrician, he never got tipped.

After that horrible reaction to it, I would have just kept the tip instead of giving it to her. Sometimes you only have cash and that's what you have to use, plus it's actually kind of nicer to give it to them in person. Not everybody is going to tip electronically. I like to tip generously, but that would have eliminated it right there.

that's funny because I never took on the app. I always tip cash for two reasons. 1. their tip is between me and them not me in the IRS. 2. it ensures they're going to bring the order to the right front door. you just put a remark on the app for delivery the tip will be paid at the door

You don't have to accept orders with no tips. I drive for all the apps part-time. Decline the order. This is on the driver, not the customer. Even if he didint tip at all.

I always thought that if you put a Tip in a credit card, then they had to pay full taxes on the amount. I never put a Tip on a credit card, I leave Cash only, at least 20percent. Sometimes more, very rarely do I leave less, they would have to be a shitty server for me to leave less.
That’s why I don’t think that you should have to put down a Tip on a delivery order. It should be after the delivery, I have worked for tips so I know how important a tip is. I like to give a Cash tip, that way they don’t have to pay taxes on it. I always said that, Tippin ain’t a city in China.
