It’s crazy to me how easy it is to own a gun in the us, some states might be hard but, my state is so easy, you have to be 18. That’s it, no professional training, no hunter safety, not even a concealed carry permit. Just have to be of age…

I was raise in a house with guns as my father was a Korean war veteran and a avid hunter at an early age my father taught me GUN SAFETY and gave me test I had to pass before handling a firearm and going hunting with him. Even today at the age of 73 I have legally carried a CCW FOR OVER 30 years and chose to be licensed TEXAS) because I carry concealed - Ever new year i re-read the Texas laws pertaining to Texas Guns laws on concealed carry and keep up with the latest changes that can prevent me legally going to jail being licensed- So many are ignorant and think they can carry a gun anywhere - As a life time Benefactor member of the NRA and practice once a week on indoor rage I have NEVER had a stupid stunt as shown - Ive never fired my weapon in 4 occasions having 3 people arrested and stopping a personal threat (yes police was called) I call the police in the event IF I Have to draw my weapon at SOMEONE) IM RESPONSIBLE …most idiots are not just like the one shown

Where qualifying with the Marines, on the range with a 45. Their was a LT near me shooting a 38. He missfired. stopped, reset and missfired again. He then looked as if he was trying to look down the barrel. He bent his elbow and was within inches of having it pointed at his head when it went off, putting a hole in the overhead. it was an outdoor range so no real damage done. I think I was the only one to see it. We often would make jokes about LT's and a few lived up to that reputation.

The best solution is to show proof of a gun saftey course which is super easy. They used to show you photographs from a real gunshot wound and that every gun is loaded.
