My nephew would come home every month with a lunch bill but they never stop giving him his lunch that school would rather see a child go hungry and get sick Don’t know what his mother or his parents are going through and for 2.30 he should’ve been fired for even bringing her to court and I hope they made him pay all her money that she missed when she was out of work.

I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of watch dog dad.. how is that my grandson’s grammar school working in the cafeteria voluntarily? A child came through and didn’t have enough money for his lunch and I paid it out of my pocket. Children don’t need to be punished for what their parents failed to do.
I paid for a students lunch for entire year. parents lost their home, their business, and ultimately their marriage. Student was living in boy friend's garage during senior year. Wanted to graduate with her classmates. District could have fired me if they found out I knew what she was doing. I would occasionally see her after she graduated and married her boyfriend. Some times some humanity is worth more than following a stupid rule.
