I know them as Rosettes. I bought a set 30 years ago. You use a pancake like batter, not greasy, light and thin, very tasty with powdered sugar. My set had 4 different shapes

These look like buenlos but the ones we have always made are a flower shape but not this thick looking and we fry them until they are a golden brown then toss them in cinnamon and sugar, they a light and crispy and a Christmas staple for our family! 🥰

These look like some of my FAVORITE COOKIES!!!! They have black sesame seeds in them and a nice subtle flavor. SOOOO good and uber-crunchy! Same shade and technique but slightly different flavors.
