then why do people still attend live sporting events with the same predatory pricing for concession snacks?
we stop at a local dollar store or Convenience store for snacks. my wife carrys in a big purse with all the snackage and 20 oz drinks. We have taken subway sandwiches in.
that's exactly what it was because I went to the movies about maybe I'm going to say 4 years ago when she was the last time I ever went I bought a bowl of popcorn for three people cost me $27
To take my wife and two kids to the movies, $200 all in....
No releasing movies in many cases just a few weeks to streaming is what hurt the theater.

the concession stand serves as their revenue. DVD's used to be part of the films haul. things change. now they are introducing newer and better options.

Absolutely right I agree that is why I don't visit the movie theater. I want popcorn sida and perhaps a candy. last time I went was two years ago and it cost me twice the price of movie for my snacks. I am done.
