my niece home schools my great niece and nephews and they are very socialized and know all about the working world so you are VERY VERY WRONG on that she gets together with other parents that home schools they're kids they go on educational field trips they teach all the kids together the older kids are with kids they're own age and being thought for their age groups

kids are no longer disciplined the way I was disciplined when I grew up, the kids nowadays are very soft and watch a lot of TV and rely on video games to teach them because their parents don't have the time to teach them. mom and dad can now go to jail for trying to discipline their children, unheard of when I was growing up.

Kids will do things that adults know is dangerous. they're kids! they swallow dry cinnamon because someone of a social media challenge. they set themselves on fire in a shower for the same reason and even worse a mother filmed it for her son while he got burned. that's why children need parents with at least a little common sense. do kids take risks that could cause serious injury or death. yes. does it make them stupid. maybe. it absolutely makes them need someone with common sense to be around. when my kids were growing up I preferred their friends to come to my house where I was there to watch what was going on. did they get hurt? yes. sometimes. but I was close by to help them. was I overprotective? according to some? yes. but I was there so if anything happened I was there to help.
