There are racist people everywhere you go, unfortunately you met one. I’m Hispanic and was born in Puerto Rico and raised in NYC. Believe it or not there are a lot of racist people in NYC. I was even face discrimination when I visited Puerto Rico. I have traveled the world and have visited many countries. I have also visited many states here and you cannot label a whole country or state based on one bad experience with an uneducated person. Six years ago as my wife and I were making our way South to Mississippi, we met Souther that were welcoming us to the South. Even as we were moving into our new home our neighbors welcomed us into the neighborhood. Our mailman, FedEx and UPS delivery driver came and introduced them self to us. Before moving here I lived in the same neighborhood for 22 years and didn’t know my neighbors or our delivery driver’s. Never judge all people because you had a bad experience with one person

Thank you for your apology. I have traveled in many states. Most states do not have the high number of Blacks as Mississippi. Mississippi has come a long way. I have found that Mississippi Blacks and Whites on the whole get along very well. People in Mississippi are very friendly. We share greetings as we pass regardless of race. I see videos of other states out of the South that are very racists. People in these areas hide their racism. I have talked to Blacks in these states and they verify this. New York state is very racist. I have had Blacks there astonished that I carried on a conversation with them. I am proud of my state.
