He wasn't on trial. His sister was killed by her husband with their 2 sons present in the home after her birthday celebration. He had a history of abusing her..I know she was in the armed service but I think he was too. part of the evidence at trial was CCTV footage from inside the house. He was not given a lengthy sentence for murdering her. If you watch the camera footage from that night and see his trial you'd agree with her brother..the system let them all down.

The truth is with the marines, yes they keep deploying you because your body is needed. That goes on until you’re dead or your body can’t take it anymore! My dad had 6 months until retirement and they sent him to Vietnam to set up an underground kitchen on a hill that was constantly bombed by Vietnamese! He had done the same in the Korean War. He gained rank for retirement which came 2 weeks after returning home. He then had to find a job to support himself!
