I have one from the early 1960s with the three stones on it. That tool help rebuild probably 15 to 20 engines. I don't even know if I can get the stones for it anymore.

That's an older engine block Now a days everything is disposable. Aluminum blocks run cooler though and there for less engine damage. Excessive high heat isn't good for any engine. I had been talking about making Aluminum blocks for years until they fi ally did it . that's why odometer would turn at 100,000 miles and people would say that the car was going to need another engine soon after. Now? Shit as long as you maintain good oil and follow man. rec. maintenance it'll rum a million miles!

there is a crap load of error using that method. thats like drilling pilot holes with measureing and eyeballing it, using a hand drill. way to much room for error
