I’m not a racist, but there have been too many incidents just like this. I don’t use my card in any stores, gas stations or what have you! My experience in my town was at the liquor store, they didn’t want to give me my change(coin), and they charge me for the merchant tax that they’re supposed to pay when they buy the liquor. Yeah a lot of people are shady!

I don’t even use cards in gas stations or grocery stores as much as I used to because of situations like this. It’s sad that the only safe place to us your card is at a bank. And then you have to be careful there too!

This happened to me I didn’t catch it but my credit card company caught it like 5 minutes after I left they called me and asked did I make a $200 purchase in the Middle East somewhere I said no I just used the card for the first time I immediately went right back to that store with the police and cursed him out the police wasn’t much help because they wanted paperwork it just had happened so I had no idea how they processed because the credit card company canceled the card and issued me a new one they need to be out the country for stuff like this
So we went to Walmart bought some stuff it was a very specific amount like $118.34 and a few days later seen it come out of my bank account, a few days after that I got another charge same exact amount…😲 so i investigated it and my bank gave me my money back Walmart wouldn’t even investigate but obviously it was one of their employees that was doing it

usually the store owner is in on it. How else would the scammer have time to place all that on there

I went to 3 different Arabic stores of course different dates and times. The first one talked so badly to me because he did give me the wrong scratch off tickets. The second one asked me will I take !400 for my &500 scratch off ticket. The 3rd one took my Cash 4 tickets that equal to $300. I asked him how much did I win? He looked me dead in my eyes and said $100. He didn’t know that I had already checked on my phone. I cursed him out and left the store. I took my ticket and went to Circle K, but of course I couldn’t get any money because the last store cashed it in. I went right back and side, “give me my damn money before I call the police on your ass. It was a black guy in the store and he asked me did he try to take your money? I said yes. The cashier tried to explain his side. The man said, “look I don’t have anything to do with that, but give this lady her money.” I got my $300 and left. I will never go back to either one of those store.
The best thing to do when you see a skimming machine is to leave the store and then call the police. You never want the scammer or scammers behind the counter to know what you know. Worse come to worse you could try calling the Better Business Bureau to report the fraud yourself. I have one question to viewers: Why do stores like 7-11s, AM/PM, Mom and Pop stores, always seem to setup their businessess in the poorest parts of the city ?
90% of them scanners in stores like that are put on by the owner or employees of the store

This doesn't necessarily mean the store knew about it. Scammers randomly target stores and ATM machines and place those things on.

7-11 a few blocks from my house got caught doing this and the video is epic of the guy that discovered it and the owner trying to stop him from removing it, police showed up and let’s just say it’s a corporate store now and not a franchise
