I had a Spaniel who lost a litter of pups. I had a cat who had kittens at the same time. The spaniel (Rags) decided she wasn't done being a mommy so every time the mommy cat went for a break, Rags would steal as many as she could and I would find her behind the couch, in a closet or in her bed feeding them. When the kittens got bigger they started following Rags around and sleeping with her 🥰True story. 👍

I have been feeding stray cats for 3 years. I just found out that two of my neighbors have also been feeding the.. no wonder they look like the healthiest cats ever. so funny. I will keep feeding them.

Gretchen is like a lie, these are my babies.
We got a tiny Yorkie 6 months ago for my FIL we care for as he lost his elderly doggie last summer. I have a 4 yo Yorkie whom we acquired from a horrible breeder situation several month prior. She immediately allowed the baby to comfort nurse. I called our vet to ask if it would be harmful to either in any way and he said no, but to tell the baby he is too old to be nursing. I did. Neither of them cares 🤣. About 3 months ago he finally stopped on his own, with a little encouragement from her, though if he gets hurt or is sleepy he will still bury his head in her tummy and go to sleep. It’s the cutest thing! So in December, months after he stopped nursing, she dropped milk! 😳 She became grouchy and for some reason became very angry with our cat, whom she used to sleep with. It was crazy!! Took her to the vet and she had to be spayed. It helped, though she’s still Mommy Molly in both their minds. 🤣🤣
