my son broke his ankle in 4th grade. backyard football. we videod the c removal. cast was blue. first thing he wanted was mc donalds and to go home and soak in the tib. it really did stink

I remember this when my leg was broken. When they cut the material back my leg was half the size of my right leg. I just about passed out. But it came back. This was 49 yrs ago. 😆

My daughter never got a cast. broke both bones in leg, they put a rod in her leg, screwed from her knee to her ankle. started walking in 3 weeks, six weeks of therapy and could not tell it was ever broken. Rod still in to this day

how bout a month? the saw scared me as a kid but the itching was terrible. and yeah, it stunk. 18 operations. very familiar. getting the cast off though was always a relief.

And the size of the arm or leg is smaller than the other. Until you get using it.

I had a cast on for a year a long time ago and dry skin was bad but hair on leg was really long--- gross

I couldn’t take it nomore I took mines off too itchy I use to get a wire hanger and go inside the cast and scratch it lol
