If you are curious this is boiled mochi, a popular street food known for its soft and chewy texture. After boiling, the soft mochi pieces are often rolled in sweetened powders such as; Crushed peanuts, Toasted black sesame seeds (the first powder used), Kinako (roasted soybean flour) and sugar.
Mochi Ice Cream- small mochi rice balls with Chocolate,Strawberry or Vanilla ice cream filling. Delicious says this half Okinawan, Half Hawaiian. I think it’s rude to call this mochi rice Gross. But I say that about Liver and ur weird food too like okra (bitter snot), lamb and gamey deer. So I guess it’s just a personal opinion. But I have only said that to myself until today. Because I don’t usually insult one’s choices especially when they r cultural. It a tact called CLASS which obviously some do not care about. Just Saying.

Mochi is deadly in Japan. The rice cake is a New Year tradition but many people, especially elderly choke and die from eating it. At least three died and seven hospitalized already this year.

It's Mochi dipped in chocolate or graham crackers, mochi is a rice flour, sweetened with sugar & has a different kind of texture. sometimes it's filled w/ ice cream, called bubblies. Very tasty!!
