Does somebody have to have a bathtub explained too? Pretty simple concept. You have hot and you have cold, in this case, you have strong and you have weak. if they are mixed, they become a different thing. Warm or Mid.

I worked at a Sunoco station back in the 70s my dad and grandfather worked at the Sun Oil refinery in Marcus Hook Pa. The station we got 2 grades of fuel the pump adjusted the mixture to create the grade of fuel. As you can see multiple selections. The new 3 grade pumps work the same

This is gonna piss young people off … when I was a young guy … we could buy fuel at the Airport … it was either 110 or 115 Octane … we would drop in Nathalene balls in the Tank to raise the octane higher , plus use Dry Ice before going into the Carburators … We would bore the hell out of the Carb injectors … turn a 4 barrel into a 6-7 barrel . My brother was skinny with long arms , no one could outshift him in the 1/4 mile
the MID GRADE PUMP ,when chosen just mixes the lower octane(87) and the higher octane(91 or 93) coming from the 2 pipes....this is standard

Two tanks. There is no mid grade truck that comes. get regular, and octane booster.

My brother delv gas to gas stations and told me they put the fuel in the specific tanks, but if the low grade tank won't hold all the delivery and the premium or mid grade has the room for it then they put the rest in what ever tank will hold it.
87 and 89 are the same thing ur just paying different prices for the same crap 93 is the only one that’s a bit different
well I would have looked under there and see where they were going to but it looks like there's just too kinds.
2 are gasoline go through one diesel cannot mix with gasoline, therefore, 2 separate pipes😳🙄
87 and 93 are the tl2 pipes you see the 89 is actually a mixture of the two combined

I can answer it there are two pipes one for regular and plus and the other one for premium the plus and the regular they have their own tanks but they only need one pump so they got they got they got pumps in each tank but it all goes to the same it comes out of their respective tanks and goes into one pump kind of like a sewer the premium has to have its own tank because it's got all these additives and blah blah blah in it that's reason why there's two now if there's diesel they'll be three of them one for diesel one for premium and one for the plus and the regular
It's all the same gas. I know this to be factual... I'm a truck driver and it all is the same. You have a few they may use different additives but there the same at the end of the day

They use premium and regular to make a mid grade. I work for a fuel delivery company, and there isn’t an option to fill our trucks with mid grade . It’s only Regular and Premium, that’s it.
