What planet do these people live on?! It's either that or they haven't been to a store lately or tried to find affordable housing. As it stands now, there are tons of brand spanking new houses that builders have built but no one can afford to buy one so they sit empty and the bill's gonna come due very soon for all that construction and if the new homes don't get sold, that debt will be on the builders shoulders which could mean a bunch of bankruptcies will begin to flood the courts. And that is NOT the sign of an improving economy. Perhaps it will be for the wealthy but not for the common everyday workers. Even households with both parents working cannot afford to find adequate housing within their price range. And, with the ACA cutbacks, the average worker who depends on them to cover their household will end up tapped out of that market, as well. And health care for everyone will become even more expensive because we'll be paying for their care as well as our own.
