for the one Mr. Karen who can’t get over that everything is AI, this is actually a true story that did have some embellishments added in. this 90 year old veteran of WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, who was later identified as Medal of Honor recipient Van Barfoot. he has since been referred to as disabled veteran. he lived in an HOA. Florida State law permits homeowners to display their flag on a pole under 20 feet. this veterans flag pole was under 20 feet and he had a permit issued by City of Port Orange. the HOA filed a lawsuit against this veteran, for fines totaling $1,000.00, the HOA also threatened to file an $8,000.00 lien against his property. as this story hit national headlines the HOA decided to drop the lawsuit and the fines. it was the entire HOA board that filed the lawsuit, not just this one lady. this woman could be on the HOA board i don’t know. the story was actually about the flag pole and not the flag. as people will do, snippets of stories and videos are used to make ⬇️

head out of been the judge I would have ordered that woman into my private office and I would have dressed her down for at least 30 minutes I would have explained to her the whole reason of that flag and the men who fight to keep it flying not only those who served in World War II but in all wars and in peace time for this woman obviously has no concept she should have been made to do Civil Service time at the local veterans hospital so she can see the very people that give her a home to live in and that is our country God Bless the USA
