Ha! In my mid-twenties, the ex just a few years older: a hot, sunny holiday long weekend and a lake not much over and hour away. The car, ready with the tent and bedding in, is waiting outside. I packed beach blankets, change of clothes and other stuff, he packed picnic and food, cooler and so on. After a quick shower we walk out hand in hand and - the car is sitting on all four blocks, just the body and the frame, minus new tent and bedding. Long story short: that's when became exes to each other. Something just didn't work out 🤔.
