Exactly how I feel. I don't have much money or material things, but I am more blessed than most because I have the greatest love there is on this earth. I get to wake up to 3 dogs and 2 cats curled up around me. No amount of money could ever compare. My babies will never understand the depth of my love and gratitude for them !!!! They truly are my whole world !!!!!!! They are the only reason I care to wake up for.

My kids would always tell me I love my dogs more than them… I just looked at them and said, and? 🤣 They all know I love them to death and would die for each one of them, just like I would for my dogs. The difference… my dogs are always with me, they don’t talk back, say they hate me, move onto their own families, will always be here and would die for me. I lost the most incredible dog I’ve ever had 8 months ago. I will never get over the loss of Dozer. He had Lymphoma and watching him deteriorate was hard. I should have done chemo with him… he wasn’t ready to die and told me so and it broke me that day. I’d never seen my son cry the way he did and he’s a police officer… that’s how special this dog was. I haven’t felt safe since he’s been gone. He was my protector, my soul mate, the only man I’ve had in my life for a decade. Shit, I’m crying all over again. I would have cloned him if I had the money, that’s how amazing he was. He was the protector at the park. Saved a lot of dogs! 🐾♥️🐾
