My wife has had major surgery on a growth on her cervix, back 2 times, neck fusion! Iโve been there for her all the time! Sheโs done the same for me when I have had surgery the first year we were married, then later when I had my knees done! Plus my toes taken due to diabetes a an infection! Today is our 50th wedding anniversary! Together for better or sickness!๐๐ผโฅ๏ธ

I love my grabbers.
It's good she found a way but could have something for food to be placed at a high level. I've seen some do that to not have their food left on the floor.

I have one of those grabbers at home. I really don't know what I would do without it. On my 2nd pacemaker and older than some of the best wine. I couldn't bend over either so that grabber was my lifesaver. Live alone, drop something you have a problem, and that there is the remedy. YOU do what you gotta do no matter what it is.
Recovering from 3 major back surgeries and will be getting right rotator cuff surgery in about a week. They have me on "NO BLT - NO Bending, Lifting, or Twisting" for my back. I actually have 3 different lengths of the grabber tools, short one, the medium/standard length on like she has, and a long one that i got from Harbor Freight. It's great for picking stuff up off of the floor while standing up.The medium length one is great for what she used it for but also helping you get dressed. The last one is great for short distance items. They are all handy and great to have around.

well I respect her. I had to go through many surgeries and I know what it's like to try to be self-sufficient.
She used what she had. Women are resourceful. I have 3 of those grabbers. They come in handy, whether you are picking something up from the floor or reaching for something above your head!
I have one of these I just had back surgery it's called a reacher it comes in handy when you can't bend

I saw a video of a guy whose back was supposedly out and he could barely walk and the insurance people came banged on his door but he wouldn't answer.then the insurance people dropped a 100 dollar bill and went across the street to watch.the guy opened the door saw the money went out bent over picked it up and they got him for insurance fraud
