I tried to touch bottom in Milwaukee wi. at the YMCA there was no guard but I still always try but I didn't make it. I coughed under water. you never seen a person swim so fast to the top. made it I'm still alive. Gabe Thom
might be protesting for us navy seals or other navy training. Army doesn't require swimming ability. But Navy does.

👍 I spent some time in the water at ROTC summer camp, flight school, and survival school, but a dive that deep wasn't involved. We did lose one classmate in survival school who panicked in the water and had to be fished out. Admitted afterwards he always was afraid of water and never learned to swim.
