In my 8 years that I worked at a mobile home factory , I averaged that I cut over 2 and a half MILLION fucking boards , so I would half to check for damp wood usually the ones that come from Canada on a train.😁

If the branch is shorting the primary to ground, then why isn't the branch on fire?

if you don't believe me, look up electric detectors. they are detectors that can detect electrical current and objects.

was a residential electrician for many years. Humbled by what linemen deal with on a day to day basis especially when high winds / storms where we all depend on them.

In the 80's we had Billy Smith, "Tree climbing expert" and he told us "That if you touch a power line, or your weight makes a branch touch a line, that electricity can come right to you! and that can hurt, it may even kill you" so...we know.😂

I took a weed stem from the ground and laid it down onto an electric barbed-wire fence. That's how I learned to never do shit like that again.

I'd say she's a little hot I know that sound I remember that sound I will never forget that sound. The best one was tackling a punk ass kid who is getting ready to climb up a telephone pole in the middle of nowhere that was buzzing like a hornet's nest The only problem was there were no bugs around

Phase to Phase Ground to Phase and Path to Ground. Be safe out there. 3 ways it can take your life. Also never touch a tree that touching the primary most times the top wire. I used to trim burning trees away from the power lines. Either they got skip getting trim back or they was afraid to trim them. When you're power flicker it's because a limb keeps hitting the primary

I never knew that, I've heard that you could get electrocuted from branches on a line. but I just thought people was making that s*** up. and yes people they do make meters that can do that. I have one.

problem is the insulation on the wire should stop the limb from becoming energized. I know, safety because the shielding could be split.. but it's probably not...

A moisture meter is used to detect moisture in the environment for mold and remediation removal procedures. It’s used to measure the moisture when am taking a sample to send it out for testing and to determine if the property is within safe limits for moving back in once the leak was cleared and the green light is given for the tenants to move back in. Another sample is taken thereafter before drywall is put back into place to make sure everything is up to code. Mold is bad. Hence the moisture meter.

Thanks for sharing. I know thousands of people don’t know this and I’m always around trees, but not around you know where wires were touching them and now I’m glad that you did do this video cause I learned something today and the gentleman that posted that he had to check plywood. This is crazy thanks man.🤔🌸💕
