I don't know if it's too late to groom them for warm food--we gave our stable keeps warm oats about three times a week. you don't want to upset their bowel track for more clean up--but if you watch the weather this weekend you know what Indiana looks like and I'm from Michigan but Indiana somewhere between Edinburgh and Columbus we would have a mountain of snow and it would be cold and all those they were in a nice insulated pole barn with assisted electric efficiency they became very appreciative and wanted to try to help work with us. someone said they could help clean the stalls by pulling the carts out with the used manure and straw however we didn't want any extra odors on them to keep that environment in the barn clean. they loved whatever remainders of clover scents that would remain in hay and straw
