better then the microwave that cooks all the nutrients out of food. This is how we did it in the old day before microwave...👍
😲 Wow just sat down to some food that I used a different steaming method and then I saw yours.I no that is faster to steam your food in the microwave but the steaming way does it better to me
yup it does make the plate hot too and it radiats heat quickly with the steam. this was a common thing before microwave came around

I used to do this about 30 years ago when I was working at the hospital.Bring my dinner and put a pot on stove in the kitchen of the hospital floor that I worked on.Put my plate with the food on it with aluminum foil over top of it.And let it steam
