I use mine as trash can liners. No wasting of the bags and I don't buy trash can liners! 🤷

My grandma crochets blankets out of the bags that are thick and soft padding for the homeless.

I'm talking about the little trash cans in the bathroom and the bedroom trash cans.

If you have an excess of used plastic bags, you can return them for recycling at many grocery stores. The cabinet under my kitchen sink was full of them until my daughter bought me a handmade bag dispenser. I filled it then dropped the rest off at Kroger. They have a collection bin near the entry at the front of the store.

Toss anything used for raw meat, seafood or fresh produce. You want to avoid cross contamination. Just my opinion.

Personally, I would cut the bottom of the canvas bag FIRST, then you wouldn't risk cutting the other bottom of the first couple of bags. Just an opinion.

I cram all my plastic bags into one plastic bag and hang them on a hook on the cupboard door under the kitchen sink or just throw the whole thing underneath the sink.
