I drove a truck for 38 years and haven't seen anything like this but it'd be a great way to clear the highway for traffic relief if there wasn't any glass on the road.

A single vehicle accident. The scene was already processed and cleared by state patrol. Tow truck was probably too far off, and the highway needed to be reopened.
