I can't believe the amount of people who start labeling peoples' political affiliations from a 10 sec clip of a video. There is a way to speak about adult things in a way that is child appropriate. Children hear words all the time that we have to give some kind of explanation when they ask us what it means. Even small children aren't shielded from the 10 commandments at churches. Explaining adultery in a very child friendly way doesn't seem very difficult compared to explaining fornication. You can explain adultery as trying to have a boyfriend or girlfriend while you are married or already have a boyfriend or girlfriend. That's all that would need to be said to kids that age and they would accept that answer. I have 7 kids, so I've definitely had my share of doing this! Try explaining what a pedophile is without getting too graphic. For example, bad adults that like to touch children in their no no square. You don't have to exactly explain sex at that age.

as it relates to 10 commandments I'd have no problem saying that mummy and daddy when married can’t have other boyfriend or girlfriends I’d even be willing to expand that to if you have two mummies or two daddy, they can’t have boyfriends and girlfriends and still be married that makes the partner 🌸sad, and isn’t nice or fair. Out of context much? She's not saying it's a lesson plan. Kids ask the darndest questions all the time. (EX: Teacher, is it OK for Daddy to have a girlfriend and a wife?) How does it establish that a child can come to their teacher when needed if teacher says "I can't talk about that with you honey." A teacher can say. "In my opinion, it's not ok, honey." and never give the conversation a label. Hell, a kid might want to be her daddy's girlfriend, (innocent) or he might be creeping on her and calling her his girlfriend to abuse her. Teachers hear it all. They were made mandatory reporters for that reason.
