The first amendment provides the freedom of religion! This country was not found solely on Christianity! Even on the Mayflower, which is famously associated with religious refugees, roughly half of the passengers were "strangers"—merchants, craftsmen, and indentured servants who were economic migrants, not separatists seeking religious freedom. If you allow one religion into the school system then you MUST allow for all religions! If that doesn’t sit right with you then keep religion out of the school system. The fact that most Christians don’t want all religions in schools - just theirs - technically makes them none patriotic.

I can't believe the amount of people who start labeling peoples' political affiliations from a 10 sec clip of a video. There is a way to speak about adult things in a way that is child appropriate. Children hear words all the time that we have to give some kind of explanation when they ask us what it means. Even small children aren't shielded from the 10 commandments at churches. Explaining adultery in a very child friendly way doesn't seem very difficult compared to explaining fornication. You can explain adultery as trying to have a boyfriend or girlfriend while you are married or already have a boyfriend or girlfriend. That's all that would need to be said to kids that age and they would accept that answer. I have 7 kids, so I've definitely had my share of doing this! Try explaining what a pedophile is without getting too graphic. For example, bad adults that like to touch children in their no no square. You don't have to exactly explain sex at that age.
