No child in this country should ever starve when we send millions to countries like Israel and Ukraine.
I have no problem with the government subsidizing healthy nutritious lunches for children from impoverished homes, seems like a good use of taxpayer funds and a logical government function.

If kids are REQUIRED to go to school and keep your kid for 8 hours+ or else their parents go to jail, then the government is and should be REQUIRED to give your kids free food to eat while they are their. idm my tax dollars going to make sure kids in OUR country get fed that i would 100% have no issue with. i was one of those starving kids so i know the pain. its not always parents not being able to afford it other times it's parents don't care or are too strung up on drugs to register any rational thought. not every child is fortunate enough to have a good family
