You are supposed to use lemon or orange Koolaid, not red. It contains citric acid and you sprinkle it in and use the brush to distribute it leaving it overnight and then finish brushing the bowl. Red Koolaid can be used to check for leaks, but you put it in the tank, not the bowl. When you flush it will show any leaks. 👍🙂
